Refund and cancellation policy

Three rules, written plainly. They apply to every paid 1-to-1 lesson and group class, in every time zone.

The three rules

Cancelled 24 hours or more before the slot

Classes cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time are credited back to your tuition balance, to be used for a future class.

Cancelled less than 24 hours before the slot

Late cancellations, and missed classes without notice, are charged in full.

Trial classes

Trial bookings are completely free of charge. Cancelling or rescheduling a trial never costs anything.

How to cancel

Send a WhatsApp message to +92 339 5371275 or an email to hello@hashscholars.com with the student's name and the class you are cancelling. The time your message is received decides which rule applies, and the 24 hours are counted back from the class start time in the time zone the class is scheduled in.

When we cancel

If a tutor cancels a class, or a class cannot go ahead because of a connection failure on our side, the class is credited back to your tuition balance in full, or rescheduled at a time that suits you.

Tuition balance

Credits sit on your family account and are used against your next classes. You can see your balance on each invoice, or ask support at any time. Credits from cancelled classes stay valid for six months from the date of the cancelled class.

If you stop tuition

You can stop at any time by giving two weeks notice in writing, by WhatsApp or email. Classes scheduled inside those two weeks go ahead and are charged as normal, or can be cancelled under the 24-hour rule above.

Once the notice period ends, any prepaid classes that have not been taken, and any unused credit on your tuition balance, are refunded to the original payment method within 14 working days. Bank or transfer charges made by the payment provider are deducted from the refund, and we tell you the amount before it is sent.

Classes already taught, late cancellations, and discounts such as family rates have no cash value and are not refunded.

Illness and emergencies

Emergencies are handled by a person, not by this policy. If something serious has happened, write to us and we will talk it through.
