Cancellations, in three rules

Classes cancelled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time are credited back to your tuition balance.

Less than 24 hours before the slot
Late cancellations are charged in full, because the tutor has reserved and prepared that time for your child.

Trial classes
Trial bookings are completely free of charge, whenever they are cancelled or rescheduled.

Why is the 1-to-1 price shown as custom?
Because it depends on the level, the subject and the tutor's examining experience. An A Level Chemistry tutor who has marked the paper costs more than a Checkpoint maths tutor, and a single price would overcharge one family to undercharge another. You get the exact hourly rate in writing before booking.
Is the trial really free?
Yes. A 45-minute live class with no card details. You leave with a marked piece of your child's work whether or not you book.
How does billing work?
Monthly in advance for a fixed weekly slot, or per block for exam sprints. There is no joining fee, no materials fee and no minimum contract.
How do family rates work?
Once the student accounts are linked, sibling discounts are applied automatically to your invoice. Contact support to link accounts.
Can we move between group and 1-to-1?
Yes. Many students take a group class for steady practice and add 1-to-1 sessions before an exam. Tell us and we will adjust the plan from the next billing month.
